About William Taylor

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as your Metro Atlanta real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Metro Atlanta area, please Contact Me.

How I Got Here

An Atlanta native, I joined the East Cobb Office of Harry Norman, Realtors in May, 2008 after relocating to Georgia in 2006. I spent 26 years in California where I was a real estate professional for 10 years with Pacific Union and McGuire & Company – high end, luxury real estate brokerage firms in the San Francisco Bay area.

Prior to the real estate business, my career uncovered an innate ability and passion for solving customer problems through hardware support in addition to consultative selling skills in software and hardware sales with the Unisys Corporation. Later, I transitioned to IBM and MCI and performed as a Sales Engineer designing supporting communications and networking products. Also during this time, I became certified as an IT instructor for the University of California at Berkley teaching both online and in the classroom.

I attended Howard University, in Washington, D.C.; and Pace University, in New York City, where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Post secondary education in Networking Certificates was received from University of California at Santa Cruz - High Speed Switching, University of California at Berkeley - Network Engineering.

In addition to enjoying the real estate landscape of Atlanta, I stay fully engaged in the city’s performing arts scene, frequenting art shows, theatre and live music venues. I also remain active in local business associations. This level of involvement enables me to bring stability, and yet flexibility to my clients, particularly those new to the city.

Specialty: I prefer to maintain a Zen-like, minimalist style, but thrive on working with buyers and sellers in a mixture of creative architectural styles and price ranges with the commonality of substance in the details.
